Care Act Advocacy provides:
Independent help and support with:
- Needs assessment
- Care and support planning
- Care reviews
- Keeping safe from harm (safeguarding)
Getting Advocacy
- If the local authority believes that someone has substantial difficulty taking part in their assessment or review of their needs, and there is no-
one else who can support them, then they have a right to an advocate under the Care Act.
