Working with Advocacy

Based on Action for Advocacy’s National Advocacy Charter, this document is aimed first and foremost at people who work for health and social care organisations.  It explains what advocacy is, how Dorset Advocacy works to meet the requirements of the Charter, and how we ask health and social care agencies to work with us.

It is intended that the document will form a part of all of our funding contracts and agreements from now on, thus ensuring that advocacy in Dorset is consistently accessible, independent, and excellent.
