Volunteering for Dorset Advocacy is a rewarding and challenging experience.

As a volunteer advocate, you will help disabled or older people , as well as people with learning disabilities to have freedom, fairness and respect in their lives.  You are likely to be attending meetings or making phone calls on other people’s behalf.  

Full training, support and supervision is provided, and your expenses will be paid.

At present Dorset Advocacy runs a very successful volunteer scheme with volunteer advocates from a diverse range of backgrounds, supporting vulnerable people county-wide. But we have more advocacy partners who need support,

If you are a good listener, patient, understanding, tactful, diplomatic, discrete, non-judgemental, respectful of the views and opinions of others and want to make a difference, then Dorset Advocacy needs you.
