Citizen Advocacy is one-to-one confidential support from an advocate who may be a member of our staff team or a trained volunteer.  The help they offer is generally short-term, and will focus on resolving issues that prevent people from making the most of life.  They may have a problem getting services they need, they may be dissatisfied with a service they receive, or they may be at risk of discrimination or other forms of harm.  The advocate will find out what the person wants, and try to help them find a solution that is right for them.  Advocates can make phone calls on the person’s behalf, write letters, and attend meetings with the person they are supporting.

Our paid or volunteer advocates can help you to speak up about a range of issues, including:

Citizen Advocacy

Or download and complete the referral form, then fax back to 0843 849 2689 or   email it to [email protected].

Our advocates are very busy and our funding is limited so we may not be able to help everyone who contacts us.  If we cannot help you, we will try to signpost you to another organisation that can.
