Helpful Tips

1) To make text bigger in Internet Explorer, press “Ctrl” and “+” at the same time. Repeat to make bigger again. “Ctrl” and “-” makes it smaller again.

2) All images have “alt” tags so that screen readers and text-only browsers can “see” them.

3) We have used a simple layout, photos and navigation to make the site as easy to use as possible.

4) The BBC site “My Web My Way” has lots of useful information about how to make the web more accessible.

It is very important to us that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, and especially to those with the disabilities that we serve. We are currently researching how we can make our website even more accessible, so that it can be enjoyed by everyone.
