A citizen advocate is a volunteer who gets to know a person with learning disabilities and helps them to speak up.
Citizen advocates can help people to sort out:
Money
Health
Housing
Work
And many other issues

We cannot find volunteers for everyone who wants one, but members of Dorset Advocacy staff can often help to sort
out short-term problems.
